Mr. Lam Kam Wing is a highly distinguished tax professional with more than 55 years of comprehensive tax experience, spanning senior government service and private tax advisory practice. His career combines deep technical knowledge, regulatory insight, and proven success in resolving complex tax matters.

Mr. Lam is a Fellow Member of the Association of International Accountants, United Kingdom (AIA, UK) and an Associate Member of the Malaysian Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACTIM). He is also an approved tax agent appointed by the Minister of Finance (MOF).

He spent 33 years with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM), where he rose to the role of Deputy President of the Enforcement and Legal Department. His extensive experience at IRBM provides clients with unique insider insight into tax audits, investigations, enforcement actions, and dispute resolution processes.

After retiring from government service, Mr. Lam joined WLG Tax Advisory Sdn Bhd and JPro Tax Consultancy Sdn Bhd, serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Senior Tax Consultant. He specializes in tax audit defence, high-value tax disputes, and tax appeal matters, particularly involving complex corporate structures and industry-specific issues.

Mr. Lam has successfully represented corporations and taxpayers in numerous high-stakes disputes with the Inland Revenue Board, achieving significant reductions in assessments, remission of penalties, and restoration of tax exemptions. He is also regularly engaged to support legal counsel in tax litigation and appeals, including involvement in notable Malaysian tax court cases.
