Datuk Wong Joo Hua is an accounting, taxation, and governance professional with more than 28 years of professional experience in audit practice, financial regulation, and corporate advisory. His professional competence encompasses auditing standards, corporate taxation, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, company secretarial practice, and governance advisory.

He holds a Bachelor of Business degree with majors in Business and a sub-major in Professional Accounting from Western Australia. Datuk Wong is admitted as a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), and is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia). He is also an ASEAN Certified Public Accountant (ASEAN CPA) and a member of CTIM, MICPA, and MACS.

Datuk Wong commenced his career with audit and accounting firm for more than six (6) years and thereafter, he joined Kenanga Investment Bank as a Compliance Officer, where he developed expertise in capital market regulation and institutional compliance.

Datuk was approved by the Minister of Finance, Malaysia, as an Approved Company Auditor and Licensed Tax Agent, and subsequently established Wong Joo Hua & Co., Chartered Accountants. The firm's conversion to a Professional Limited Liability Partnership (PLT) in 2025 marked a significant enhancement of its professional governance structure.

He currently serves as Managing Director of JPro Tax Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. and as Independent Advisor to MAICA group entities, contributing to board-level discussions on financial reporting, risk management, compliance, and corporate governance.
